Eva Mendes was born in America and is an American model, actor and musician. She was spotted by a talent agency who recognized her potential and persuaded her to choose an occupation in the entertainment field. After much consideration, she resigned from the university to enter the world of entertainment. In the movie "Children of the Corn Fields of Terror", she made her acting debut and disappointed herself with the result. She was determined to perfect her acting talents and performed in several films with low budgets to show her abilities. It was not an straightforward path for the actor, but her sheer willpower and perseverance did not go unrewarded. In the movie Training Day she gained fame and received positive reviews. This was when her acting career began to take off.
