Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actor. She is most well-known in the US for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW series Arrow. Rickards is from British Columbia native. As a child, Rickards began her professional career with the musical theater and later dancing. In later years, she was hoping to introduce herself to professional acting. Her path in career development began at an early age after she completed high school and went to the Vancouver Film School. There she was enrolled in the Acting Essentials Course. She auditioned at an open audition after having completed the program. The audition was the catalyst for her getting signed with an agent. She studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
