Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, playwright and professor of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was born to the British father and Turkish-born mother from England. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna moved to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. Over the years which followed, she moved into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony.
